A Renaissance Castle in the heart of Sologne
Just 18 km south of Orléans, the Château de La Ferté-Saint-Aubin opens its doors to you in the heart of the Sologne. Built at the end of the 16th century by Henri de Saint-Nectaire, this majestic private residence rises on the site of a former small castle. From the moment you arrive, let yourself be charmed by the elegance of its Renaissance architecture and the beauty of its moated waters.

A Story of Families and Great Ladies
Over the centuries, the château has belonged to prestigious families, including the Saint-Nectaire and the Lowendal. Each has left its mark: extensions, the development of the lateral wings, and the creation of a magnificent French formal garden. For more than 350 years, the château has been inhabited and has preserved the soul of its illustrious owners.

Classified Gardens and a Park
Surrounded by 40 hectares of nature, the estate is home to listed gardens and a historic park. First laid out in the French formal style, it was transformed in the 19th century into a romantic landscaped park, before being restored to its original style. Its canals, avenues lined with bald cypresses, and its play of perspectives make it an exceptional place for a stroll.
From the Restoration to the Renaissance of the Place
In 1987, Jacques Guyot acquired the estate, undertook extensive restoration work, and opened the site to the public. Roofs, salons, historic kitchens… everything came back to life. Since 2018, his son Lancelot Guyot has brought new momentum: original events, giant escape games, large-scale games in the park, and family events that make the château a lively place all year round.
