Stayed many times over the years ,always feels familiar.and welcomed. Even being English.

It's fine as is

Helpful and friendly staff in reception and restaurant. Campsite is cared for and under improvement.

Long term improvements already under way.

It was a fantastic pit stop. We loved the beautiful setting.

Lovely site in a lovely area. The staff are also very helpful

Location is good,and late opening times.the amenities are very good

The barrier needs to be improved as it didn't open at all for us but the staff opened it for us every time

Spacious pitches lovely town great for a stop over going south

This was my favourite site. And we have pitched on many areas of the campsite. The field that is being used for acsi camping needs to be drained as easily waterlogged. The last owners pitched the units depending on the weather and state of the land

Woodland drained Female toilets not in the washing area would be an improvement

Loverly campsite, we've stayed 5 or 6 times now but we find the new management a bit slow. We were as always using the ACSI card discount scheme, but they had to close the pitches for health and safety, and told us we would have to pay full price which we weren't happy about, when talking to other people they had only charge them ACSI price for the same pitch as us so we feel we have been exploited on the price.

More hard standing pitches be cause when it rains it's very boggy so lots of pitches can't be used.

The area for camping is ok

We have been to the campsite several times and used to park by the lake. Now it's all cabins. Also the nicer area for motorhome is more expensive. The campsite is now not so good for camping and motorhome etc. It seems to want just chalets and glamping.
